From 2001-2003 I lived in north-west Italy, working for the Slow Food movement's editorial house and for the past six have lived here in Orange with my husband Tim and more recently, daughter Alice (4) and son Thomas (2).
I was recently appointed as NSW Writer in Residence, (read more about this on my One Farm Day blog) and also contribute regularly to a range of magazines, blogs and websites including Village Voices, Justb and Country Style magazine.
On our farm we grow deer and then sell our venison at farmers markets. Our business is called Mandagery Creek Venison and in addition to the markets we also supply some of Australia's top restaurants.
I started this blog as a collection of recipes
and resources for people who love farmers and eating locally. Because
it's lovely.
